Why visit
Kordopulov House turns Melnik’s commercial history into a tangible domestic setting. The scale of the rooms and cellar shows the resources available to successful merchants, while decorative details reveal connections beyond the immediate town. Its hillside position also explains how architecture adapted to Melnik’s tight terrain. Combined with the local museum, the house gives a clearer picture of wealth, hospitality, trade and wine culture during the town’s period of prosperity.
