Why visit
A deeply atmospheric historic cemetery visited as part of the Jewish Museum’s cluster of synagogues and heritage sites in Josefov. The cemetery was used for burials for centuries and contains densely layered gravestones; the museum sites preserve synagogues, ritual objects and testimony spanning Prague Jewish life and the Holocaust. It is included because it adds a distinctive experience to a realistic Prague or regional itinerary rather than acting as a filler stop.
What you will see
- Layered historic gravestones.
- Pinkas and Maisel synagogue collections.
