Why visit

It is a rewarding western-Poland stop for garden and landscape-design enthusiasts and works best with time for walking rather than a quick photo stop.

What you will see

  • designed landscape vistas.
  • Neisse river crossings.
  • bridges and woodland paths.

History

Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau began creating the park in 1815, using large-scale landscape design to integrate the town, river and countryside. The cross-border property was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 2004.
