Why visit
Sofiyivka Park, Uman is significant within Central Dnipro & Cherkasy because it is a late-eighteenth-century landscape park arranged around water, rockwork and classical references. The main points of interest are waterfalls and ponds, granite grottoes, and classical pavilions and sculpture. Together, these features help place the site within the wider history and landscape of Uman and its region, rather than reducing it to a single photograph. Its cultural value remains relevant for future regional planning, while any actual journey must be considered separately against current wartime access, security conditions and official travel advice.
